Lochgoilhead is a friendly peaceful location where you can simply let the stress of life disappear.
You can relax watching the day go by as you enjoy a glass of wine from the Shorehouse or Lochgoilhead hotel gazing out onto Loch Goil or alternatively jam pack your day with various activities which are all available nearby, and enjoy the wine at night!
Pet lovers have plenty walks to tire out the dog or the owners!
Swimming, cycling, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, gym, ice skating, bowling, kids play area, 9 hole golf course, and pony trekking, are all available at Drimsynie estate which is a five minute walk from the house.
Boats are for hire at the quayside aswell. Fishing is available on the loch, in the summer mackerel in abundance or river fishing with a permit payable locally
There are many local walks around the village. Most popular are the three impressive peaks know locally as the Arrochar Alps.

You must visit Agnieska the artist at Dreamtime Gallery in Inverlouin road, the shop is a delight with handpainted cards, jewellery and of course her beautifull artwork. www.dreamtimegallery.co.uk
The house is a minutes walk from the Lochgoilhead hotel where you can have a drink or meal. Very reasonable and food is great.
The Shore House is where you will get a warm welcome from Mark and Gillian. The food is delicious, and if you are lucky enough to be up when a party is on you will have a fabulous night (Hogmany is the best I've been to here) www.theshorehouse.net The Drimsynie Hotel offers a quiet drink, meal, quick snack or Dinner Dance on a Saturday if you want to dance the night away.
All information and sample menus are in an information folder in the house.
